How do join a Group Exercise class?

Joining a group exercise class is easy at Coordinated Fitness. We tailor your exercise program to you. So, even though you are in a group you are still working on your specific needs to reach your health and physical goals.

When need to write the correct program for you. You will need to complete an initial assessment with one of our Exercise Physiologists at Coordinated Fitness. Once this is completed our Exercise Physiologists will have another session with you to run you through your program. If you feel confident with the exercise you can then start in our group sessions.

We have over 35 group sessions throughout the week. We will always try and find the best time for you if there are spots available. Often, we find it is our over 60’s that are looking for senior fitness classes near them and our classes offer the right program for your needs. The beauty of our classes is they can be completed by any age group. It is always a fun session with different age groups completing their exercise program.

Having connections with other people in your community is great to build your confidence and helps you feel a sense of belonging. This is great for your mental health ongoing.

What exercises would you be given in a group class?

In your group class you will be given exercises specific to your needs. You may find you complete some exercises similar to your exercise group members however, you will have exercises just for you. Areas you will receive exercises for are strength, balance, fitness and flexibility.

Can I claim group exercise classes through my health insurance

Yes, Exercise Group Classes can be claimed through your health fund. However, we ask you to check first and not all health insurance policies cover Group Exercise Physiology.
